5 Similarities That "American Sniper" Has With Nazi Propaganda

Seth Rogen likes being controversial. It's good PR. Just weeks after almost starting WW3 with his movie "The Interview," Rogen is back in the news, for some comments made about the movie "American Sniper."
      http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/movies/2015/01/19/seth-rogen-michael-moore-blast-american-sniper/21988391/
This is the phrase I'm going to be analyzing: "American Sniper kind of reminds me of the movie that's showing in the third act of Inglorious Bastards."
The movie he is referring to is Nazi propaganda. So he's comparing American Sniper to Nazi propaganda. Before even sitting down and researching as to whether he was right or wrong, many pro-military zealots, (who support the military no matter how many democracies they topple or how many puppet governments they install or how many civilians they kill on purpose), started bashing Rogen for being unappreciative of the military, a traitor to his country, a liberal Nazi, etc, etc.
It's really sad that people jump down each other throats without even thinking. They deem any criticism of the military as unpatriotic and untrue automatically 100% all of the time, without even stopping, calming down, sitting down, and figuring out if it is valid criticism or not. In their eyes, the military can literally do no wrong. They are angels. As soon as you show a valid, clear example of a service member doing something wrong, they yell in your face "YOU'RE UNPATRIOTIC. YOU'RE UN-AMERICAN. YOU'RE A TRAITOR. IF YOU CAN'T STAND BEHIND OUR MILITARY, THEN JUST LEAVE THIS COUNTRY." Because when you really look at the facts, you actually see that Rogen is right. So let's go through this slowly, with rationality and logic, one step at a time.

First, let's look at the similarities between the Iraq war and the wars the Nazis started to gain territory before WW2 started. In the Iraq war, we had the American government fabricating tens of thousands of pages of fake intel to mislead the American people. They claimed Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, (which we never found), that Iraq was helping Al-Qaida, (they weren't), that Iraq was responsible for 9/11, (they weren't), that Iraq was a threat to America, (they weren't), etc, etc, I mean this was a massive effort. Hundreds of people at the head of the Bush Administration and various government agencies were in on it. The U.S. did this so that the American people would support their invasion and occupation of Iraq.
Germany did the exact same thing in their wars of aggression and territory grabbing just prior to WW2. They lied time after time to the German people, and the world, making up lies as a pretense to invade Czechoslovakia, Austria, etc. Hitler said that German people were being persecuted and oppressed there, (they weren't), so it was okay for Germany to invade to help them, that land originally belonged to Germany in the first place so it was Germany's right to have that land, (it wasn't), that the Jews were masterminding to destroy Germany, (they weren't). I mean this was a massive effort. Hundreds of people at the head of the Hitler Administration and various government agencies were in on it. Germany did this so that the German people would support their invasion and occupation of Austria, Czechoslovakia, etc.
Okay, so that's one similarity, but one similarity is not enough to associate anything with anything. Hitler drank water, and you drink water, so that means you're a potential mass murderer!! No, that's not how it works. We need more similarities.

The second similarity is that America invaded Iraq on false pretenses, set up an undemocratic government there that would do anything America says because America controlled it, killed hundreds of thousands of civilians in the process, stole their natural resources, most notably oil, broke dozens of different universal human rights that the Iraqi people are entitled to have, kidnapped thousands of innocent people during their occupation, raping and torturing them for seemingly no reason at all other than to brutally force the population to submit. They did all of this, while the media made America out to be the victim! That's right, the media twisted just about everything to make it look the aggressor, the liar, was the victim.
For example, an American patrol would be on their route, and come under attack by Iraqi insurgents. Some American soldiers would die in the fight. The media would make it out to be like the Americans were doing nothing wrong, that they were just innocent victims just walking along minding their own business, and the evil savage Iraqi terrorists killed them just because they are American Christians!
This charade of making the aggressor look like the victim is portrayed in "American Sniper." Just look at the trailer. You're supposed to feel for the wife who is listening to her husband's convoy being under attack. Chris Kyle was just a pure American hero when he came under attack by those evil savages!
Completely devoid in the trailer, or in the movie for that matter, is any context or scenario/location information. Kyle in an occupying soldier. He is a foreigner on someone else's land. Kyle is a foot soldier in the oppression of the Iraqi people. He is the muscle that is protecting the American occupation and the puppet Iraqi government. He is a small part in the big reason why the Iraqi people are dying over lies, why their universal human rights are being repressed by the occupation and the puppet Iraqi government. His patrol, trying to control the Iraqi people, is enforcing the torture, the kidnappings, the rapes, the oppression, the denial of basic human rights. Without his presence on the streets, the Iraqi government would collapse.
The Iraqi insurgents are portrayed as savages. They are not humanized. They are not given depth, character, reason, etc. They are one faced, one dimensional monsters that only exist to kill Americans. The movie completely leaves out the fact that it is completely logical and rational to take up arms against a fascist corrupt government and a foreign occupation that is supporting it. In fact, it is an American value. Our country was born out of our fighting a corrupt puppet government and a foreign occupation that supported it. The pro-military crowd regularly spout that it is their right to use force in self-defense or when their rights are being violated. But, exposing their double standard, they don't believe every person, regardless of race or creed, gets to enjoy that right. White Christians enjoy that right, in their mind, but brown Muslims do not. That's why they demonize the Iraqi insurgents, even though they are doing the exact same thing that they would do if America was invaded by another country, and a puppet government was set up in Washington D.C.
Everyday Americans from all backgrounds would employ the same tactics used by the Iraqis (i.e. roadside bombs, suicide vests, urban warfare, women/children, etc...) against any foreign aggressor. Why should Iraqis tolerate American tanks rolling down their streets when the very same Americans wouldn't tolerate Iraqi (or any foreign military's) tanks rolling down theirs?
Imagine that thousands of armed foreign troops were constantly patrolling American streets in military vehicles. Imagine they were here under the auspices of "keeping us safe" or "promoting democracy" or "protecting their strategic interests." Imagine that they operated outside of US law, and that the Constitution did not apply to them. Imagine that every now and then they made mistakes or acted on bad information and accidentally killed or terrorized innocent Americans, including women and children, most of the time with little to no repercussions or consequences. Imagine that they set up checkpoints on our soil and routinely searched and ransacked entire neighborhoods of homes. Imagine if Americans were fearful of these foreign troops, and overwhelmingly thought America would be better off without their presence. Imagine if some Americans were so angry about them being in Texas that they actually joined together to fight them off, in defense of our soil and sovereignty, because leadership in government refused or were unable to do so. Imagine that those Americans were labeled terrorists or insurgents for their defensive actions, and routinely killed, or captured and tortured by the foreign troops on our land. Imagine that the occupiers' attitude was that if they just killed enough Americans, the resistance would stop, but instead, for every American killed, ten more would take up arms against them, resulting in perpetual bloodshed. The reality is that our military presence on foreign soil is as offensive to the people that live there as armed Chinese troops would be if they were stationed in Texas.
Compare that to Nazi propaganda. Nazi Germany invaded Austria and Czechoslovakia on false pretenses, set up an undemocratic government there that would do anything Germany says because Germany controlled it, killed hundreds of thousands of civilians in the process, stole their natural resources, broke dozens of different universal human rights that the Austrian and Czech people are entitled to have, kidnapped thousands of innocent people during their occupation, raping and torturing them for seemingly no reason at all other than to brutally force the population to submit. They did all of this, while the media made Germany out to be the victim! That's right, the media twisted just about everything to make it look the aggressor, the liar, was the victim.
For example, a German patrol would be on their route, and come under attack by Austrian or Czech insurgents. Some German soldiers would die in the fight. The Nazi media would make it out to be like the Germans were doing nothing wrong, that they were just innocent victims just walking along minding their own business, and the evil savage Austrian or Czech terrorists killed them just because they are blonde and blue eyed Germans!
See, word for word, it happened exactly the same in both cases. All I changed was the identity of the actors. But the actions were exactly the fucking same. "American Sniper" practically elevates invading US soldiers to civilian status and natives who target the armed invaders are evil terrorists. Okay, so that's two major similarities down. Let's keep going.

Pro-military zealots often use the phrase "The military is over there, dying to protect our freedoms, which were under threat." What a load of complete and utter fucking bullshit. No one has been able to answer my question "What American freedoms did Iraq threaten or break? What oppression did Iraq lay unto us? What rights of yours were being infringed on by Iraq?"
No one has ever been able to answer that question, because the answer is NOTHING. FUCKING NOTHING. Iraq was doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to us at all. So the zealots continue to spout lies. Lies. Lies! LIES!!
Nazi zealots did the exact fucking thing. Hitler ranted on about how neighboring countries were oppressing Germany, and how the rights of German people in Austria were being threatened, therefore, he had an obligation to invade Austria. ALL FUCKING LIES.
     Wow, that's 3 similarities now. We're on a roll.

The 4th similarity is that America had an overwhelmingly more powerful military than Iraq. We had tanks, jet fighters, artillery, satellites, APCs, the most powerful military in the world. What do the Iraqi insurgents have to combat this? AK47s. RPGs. Homemade bombs. Grenades. It's not even comparable firepower. It's like comparing a gnat to an elephant. And yet through this seemingly incredibly one sided fight, "American Sniper" makes it out to be that Kyle and the Iraqi insurgents are fighting on equal terms, that he is in just as much danger as the insurgents are, that he is fighting against overwhelming odds, that he is the vulnerable good guy going into danger for the greater good, etc, etc. Michael Moore called snipers cowards. He's right. It's not brave to go after people with pea shooters when you have artillery and jet fighters and stealth bombers and attack helicopters to back you up in case you get your ass whooped. The other guy doesn't have any of that to back him up. He just has the gun in his hands, maybe a grenade or two, and that's fucking it. Oh, what danger you're in! That's why we only lost less than 5,000 troops in 8 years of fighting, when we killed over 26,000 of them in the same time frame.
Do you know what is brave though? Going against the powerful military in the world, going up against APCs and tanks and radar artillery armed with only an AK47 and an RPG. That's courage. That's dedication. It's the Iraqi insurgents that were brave, not Kyle. They didn't flinch going into battle knowing that against such overwhelming odds that they were most likely going to die. An American going into the same battle wasn't most likely going to die. Most likely he would live.
Guess what? Nazi Germany did the exact same thing. They had the most powerful military in Europe. They had tanks, artillery, bombers, etc, etc. What did Austrian and Czech insurgents have? Bolt action rifles. Submachine guns. And yet through this seemingly incredibly one sided fight, Nazi propaganda makes it out to be that Germans and the Austrian and Czech insurgents are fighting on equal terms, that the Germans is in just as much danger as the insurgents are, that he is fighting against overwhelming odds, that he is the vulnerable good guy going into danger for the greater good, etc, etc.

The 5th and last similarity is that the films conveniently omit any flaws, any negatives, any bigotry, about the soldiers that they elevate to God like status. Kyle is shown as fully human, likable, complex, multidimensional, etc. There is absolutely no negative aspects about him shown on camera at all. He is, like the pro-military zealots believe, perfect, flawless, utterly impossible to do wrong. The movie conveniently leaves all these parts out about how Kyle was:

Substitute "Koran" for "Bible." Would you like someone who said that about your holy book?

Likewise, no Iraqi is shown as likeable, complex, multidimensional, capable of showing anything but hate. But the Iraqi insurgents are people just like you, me, and Kyle. They have jobs, they have families, they have problems, they have lives, they have little quirks in their personality, etc. But no, the movie paints them as all, one tracked minded killers.
The same thing happened in Nazi propaganda. The Nazi soldiers are shown as likeable, human, complex, capable of thought, opinion, etc, even though they, in reality, are murdering civilians by the millions. And the Jews? No, they're subhuman. Rats. Greedy rats. All they do is scheme and plot against the poor innocent blonde Germans. That's all they do. The French resistance? Terrorists, killers, unhuman, evil, etc.
Look at some of the reactions people had after the film:

Now, substitute the words "ragheads", "Arabs," and "Muslims" with any other religion or any race.
  • "Teared up at the end of American Sniper. Great fucking movie and now I really want to kill some fucking Jews."
  • "American Sniper makes me wanna go shoot some fucking Christians."
  • "Nice to see a movie where the white people are portrayed for who they really are- vermin scum intent on destroying us."
  • American Sniper made me appreciate soldiers 100x more and hate black people 1,000,000 more."
In conclusion, there you have it. A step by step analysis of why Rogen's comments are actually true, and that the only reason why people see them as "incendiary" or "offensive" is because they want no one to criticize the military no matter what they do. People will counter with "Well, it's the politicians who started the war, the military didn't start it at all, they were just following orders." That is true, but that simply dodging the subject. The military still committed crimes. They should've said "No, that is against my American values. I took an oath to the U.S. Constitution, not the current government, administration, or president. Attacking a country based on lies is against the Constitution. Installing a puppet government is against the Constitution. Killing innocents is against the Constitution. Killing people who are simply protecting their lands against foreign occupiers is the against the Constitution."
But they didn't. Some soldiers refused to go, but not a lot. The ones who refused to go are the heroes. But the majority of American soldiers still followed their traitorous orders without question. The politicians would not have been able to put in a puppet government if they troops didn't invade Iraq and overthrow the government.
The pro-military zealots will say "Not all American service members have killed innocents." True. I never said otherwise. But there were plenty of Nazis who never killed an innocent either. They were either an office worker or a soldier who got wounded before he shot anyone else. That doesn't mean the Nazi party, as an entity, is not an evil and despicable organization.
It's not insulting to say that the military doesn't fight to protect our freedom. The pro-military fanatics want us to believe that, as to shut down as criticism of the military's actions before the criticism can even be stated. We are not allowed to explore the topic because it is "offensive" to suggest anything otherwise. I'm not saying it to offend anyone. I researched the topic, and I can find no freedom that Iraq was taking away from us or that was even under threat from Iraq, that the American military got back for us. If it's offensive for me to simply ask the question "What freedom did the American military fight for in Iraq" then you have to seriously ask yourself what type of society we have created here. Certainly doesn't sound free to me, we can't even ask questions.

The immigration reform that we actually need

I'm probably gonna get some shit for this, (or maybe none at all cuz no one knows how to counter anything I write) but as you should know by now, I literally could not give a fuck. I'm sorry that I'm "racist," (even though I can't be racist towards half of myself), too "radical" or "extreme" for suggesting the one fucking thing that will solve a problem, while most people just skirt around the issue with PC and convoluted suggestions that won't do jack shit. This post is gonna be very short because the solution is so simple. The fact that our worthless shit faced leaders haven't solved this problem speak to their incompetence and point to the conclusion that they just don't want to solve this problem, even though they perfectly well can.
We're talking about immigration reform here guys. Here's all we need to do to solve it:

  1. The U.S.-Mexican border is 1,954 miles long. A U.S. Army or Marine can shoot a sniper rifle effectively, on average, half a mile, (some are much better but others aren't). So that's at least 3,908 soldiers we need to effectively guard the border. Factor in difficult to see terrain for some parts of the borders, plus back-up squads and support personnel, and we're looking at what, 5,000, 6,000 soldiers tops to guard the border. Maybe a little more but that just goes to show you how few soldiers we actually need to do it.
  2. A massive police and citizen nation-wide crackdown to round up as many illegal immigrants as we can find in this nation and send 'em back to where they came from. We can't get all 12 million of them but we can get a sizable number.
  3. Speed up the LEGAL immigration process. It's bogged and slowed down by excessive government red tape and micromanagement. There's no reason why it needs to take as long as it does. We have the NSA, we can find out every detail about anyone who's alive right now to do a background check in 5 seconds. My family from my dad's side came over here, legally, even though they were poor as shit. My mom's side was chilling in northern Mexico, minding their own business, and then the U.S. invaded and made the place Texas and my family just stayed there and became U.S. citizens because they wanted to stay on their land.
  4. Change U.S. culture. Oh yes, changing culture is hard and takes a long time. So we gotta start now. We have to change people's mindsets and attitudes towards illegal immigration. We have to get people thinking that yes, it is a crime to come to this country illegally. Just because your life sucks in Mexico doesn't mean that suddenly, Mexican, U.S., and international law doesn't apply to you and suddenly you can break whatever law you want. Show them that yes, the majority of illegal immigrants commit other crimes besides the crime of being in this country illegally   http://cis.org/myth-law-abiding-illegal-alien, http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/10/07/Exclusive-New-report-shatters-narrative-illegal-aliens-abide-by-laws-other-than-immigration-ones. Show them that no, giving illegal immigrants benefits like in-state tuition and driver's licenses does nothing to help the situation at all, it just costs taxpayer's more money to pay for benefits for criminals.
So there you have it. The problem could be solved in a few months, but our politicians don't want to solve it, because they benefit from illegal immigration, the drug war in relation to our current border situation, and get votes from the Hispanic-American community by not doing anything I suggested. Suck it.

P.S. So am I racist to half of myself? Is it my right side of my body or my left side of my body that is the Hispanic part that I hate so much because apparently anyone who suggests anything I suggested is OBVIOUSLY racist towards Hispanic people, right?!?!?!!

More evidence that the US has a terrorist government

Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch recently released a publication that, in essence, shows that the US government is killing a lot more civilians in countries like Pakistan and Yemen that they freely admit.

http://www.amnestyusa.org/our-work/issues/security-and-human-rights/drones/will-i-be-next
video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7o5GOvAarMc
http://www.hrw.org/news/2013/10/21/us-reassess-targeted-killings-yemen

The numbers speak for themselves:
  • In Yemen, Human Rights Watch investigated six selected airstrikes since 2009 and concluded that at least 57 of the 82 people killed were civilians, including a pregnant woman.
  • Amnesty International said it found strong evidence that more than 30 civilians were killed in four of the attacks in Pakistan.
  • The groups’ findings coincide with a report released Friday by a U.N. human rights investigator, who estimated that 2,200 people have been killed in drone strikes over the past decade in Pakistan. Of those casualties, at least 400 were civilians and 200 others were “probable noncombatants,” according to the U.N. official, Ben Emmerson. He said the statistics were provided by Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry.
  • Amnesty International highlighted a July 6, 2012, drone attack in the village of Zowi Sidgi, near the city of Miran Shah, in which it said 18 civilians — including a 14-year-old boy — were killed.
  • In December 2009, a US cruise missile strike on a Bedouin camp in the southern village of al-Majalah killed 14 alleged AQAP fighters and 41 civilians, two-thirds of them women and children. The attack involved cluster munitions – inherently indiscriminate weapons that pose unacceptable dangers to civilians.

The ages of the victims speak for themselves:
  • By the end (of 2 particular drone strikes in Pakistan), 18 people were dead, including at 14-year-old boy, and 22 others were wounded, including an 8-year-old girl.
  • It recounts another strike, in October 2012, in which a 68-year-old woman, Mamana Bibi, was blown apart by a drone as she picked vegetables in front of her grandchildren, several of whom were injured in the attack.

Shakira, a Pakistani girl that was 1 year old when a US drone strike hit her and disfigured her. Was she a terrorist? Was she a future producer of terrorists???
The refusal of responsibility, the lack of transparency, and the arrogance of our government acting like a complete God damn dick speaks for itself:
  •  With rare exceptions, the US government only acknowledges its role in targeted killings in general terms, refusing to take responsibility for individual strikes or provide casualty figures, including civilian deaths. The Yemeni authorities have been almost as silent. Both governments declined comment on the six strikes that Human Rights Watch investigated.
  • The six strikes also did not meet US policy guidelines for targeted killings that Obama disclosed in May 2013, Human Rights Watch said.
  •  The U.S. government almost never publicly acknowledges its role in individual drone strikes, and its legal justifications for targeting specific people are shrouded in secrecy.
  •  But in virtually all cases, the groups said, it was impossible to know whether the targets had met Obama’s threshold of posing an imminent threat to the United States, because U.S. officials have kept that information a secret.

The aftermath of a Pakistani wedding, bombed by an American drone. If this happened at your wedding, wouldn't you be PISSED OFF?!
What is the definition of terrorism? That's right, killing unarmed civilians. That's what the US is doing, and has been doing for centuries. It's time to get people out of their comfort zones. People feel uncomfortable talking about the crimes that their country's soldiers do, or admitting that they aren't 100% perfect little angels. Fuck your uncomfortableness. People are dying by the thousands because of the American peoples' lazy inaction. The American people could easily solve 90% of the nation's problems by simply voting third party, but no, they still vote for Republicans and Democrats, while both parties are working tirelessly day and night to ruin us.

Look at the facts, look at the stats, look at history, look at peoples' stories. The US HAS A TERRORIST GOVERNMENT. Our American values compel us to get rid of this fucking government as fast as possible, any way we can. Our government is an insult to it's people. It kills innocents on purpose to rile up the friends and families of those killed, so they can justify their one-sided war to get more power and resources.  People have the right to be mad at America. People have the right to fight against America, because America has killed their innocents. If someone killed your wife/husband/son/daughter, wouldn't you think it would be justified if you fought back and killed the murderer?

Afghani children, killed by an American airstrike. Why do we sit in silence when our soldiers kill innocents, yet we constantly demand that citizens of other countries condemn their terrorists? Do not ask someone to do something that you are unwilling to do yourself.

Simply saying basic sentences about the US government will make it easier and more comfortable for you to talk about these concepts. Stating "People have the right to take up arms against America" starts the conversation. We need to have these painful conversations. Yes, it's uncomfortable to talk about these concepts, but the government has pushed this on itself.  Only then can we work towards purging the terrorists out of our government.

Oh, America isn't the only one to blame for this. Drone strikes require the approval of the country it's happening in, otherwise, they would attack our drones with their Air Force or ground to air defenses. But they don't. They let America kill their citizens. The Pakistani and Yemeni are corrupt, self-centered oligarchies that do not care about the well-being of their citizens. They oppress them, denying them the most basic of human rights. Those governments need to be overthrown just as much as America's government needs to be. Without "foreign aid," aka, bribery, from the US, (paid by us, the taxpayers), these governments would not last a month. They're simply puppet governments that allow the US to do what it wants in their country.

Why the hell are we still in Afghanistan? Let's get the fuck out!

With Syria and Egypt dominating the headlines in recent weeks, it's easy to forget that we're still fighting the war in Afghanistan. I mean, it's only the longest war in U.S. history. It's been going on for so long that people just take it for granted that it will always be there. It's been going on for the majority of my lifetime. I remember when it started, when I was in 6th grade. It seems like an eternity ago. And yet we're still there, wasting American lives and money, for what?!

Afghan kids killed by a NATO airstrike

Osama Bin Laden has been dead for over two years. Al-Qaeda has mostly moved on from Afghanistan and into Pakistan, Yemen, and Northern Africa. It makes no sense that we still have tens of thousands of soldiers and mercenaries in Afghanistan, and thousands of civilian workers risking their lives for the rich American oligarchy that has America in it's greedy vice. In fact, this whole war has NEVER made any sense. It's not like it was a good idea at the beginning and then turned bad, no, it was rotten from the very core, the very beginning. I will make this argument by listing the reasons the U.S. government gave for invading Afghanistan back in 2001, and go into each reason individually and say why each one of them is complete bullshit.

  1. To go after Al-Qaeda: You don't send hundreds of thousands of soldiers halfway across the world to go after a couple of dozen of people. Wait, what's that you asked? Al-Qaeda was only several dozen people at the time of 9/11? Yep, that's right: http://blogs.reuters.com/afghanistan/2010/09/16/how-many-al-qaeda-can-you-live-with/  Al-Qaeda was only 200 members at the time of 9/11. That's 200 worldwide, total. Who knows how many of those 200 were in Afghanistan, but even it was the majority, like 101, you don't send hundreds of thousands of soldiers to fight 101 people. Anyone who knows anything the military, policing tactics, counter-insurgency, would know that is a HORRIBLE idea. You would be much more effective if you did small scale counter-insurgency operations with a small force of elite units like a SEAL team or the Army Rangers. They would do home invasions, disrupting operations, infiltration, drone strikes, etc. If you send a whole bunch of troops over, they end up dealing and wasting time with other people that are not Al-Qaeda. Which is exactly what happened. The insurgency against the US is not an Al-Qaeda insurgency, it's a Taliban one. We ended up fighting the Taliban, who had nothing to do with 9/11, and who offered to give us Bin Laden, but we rejected that offer: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/aponline/20011014/aponline135016_000.htm Why did we reject that offer? Because we wanted to go to war!!!!
  2. To deny Al-Qaeda the space needed to plan another attack against us: That's an impossible task to deny any group, because you only need one house to have the resources and space needed to pull off an attack like 9/11. Remember, 9/11 was committed by only 19 people. To deny people that such a small amount of space, you would need to have a soldier in every house in the world, and we have an Constitutional amendment against that, motherfuckers.
  3. The Taliban, by allowing Al-Qaeda and Bin Laden to be in Afghanistan, were guilty of the crimes of 9/11 just as much: No, just because you know someone, or have someone over to your house, does not mean you are guilty of all the crimes they may have done. That's like if a radical French group attacked the US, so then we respond by invading and occupying France. It wasn't the French people's fault, they aren't responsible for the crimes of a few. It wasn't the French government's fault, they didn't do anything. So it makes absolutely no sense to invade and occupy Afghanistan for the crimes of a couple of dozen people.
So if it wasn't for any of those reasons, then why did we invade Afghanistan?
  • To establish a base of operations that is strategically located in Central Asia, i.e. to better run operations in Iran, Pakistan, etc. That's right, we invaded an innocent country to better our military and political standing in the world. This is something that we should leave back in the 18th and 19th centuries. That's something straight out of a video game or a board game, not real life. To be civilized people, we don't invade other countries just to strengthen ourselves. The government and its media lackeys made up this whole narration listed above to make our invasion sound legitimate, when in fact it was only launched to benefit the military-industrial complex.
  • To get the vast amount of mineral resources that are in Afghanistan, http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/14/world/asia/14minerals.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0  Again, we only did it to better ourselves, our own fat pockets. The government didn't care about protecting us or saving Afghan women. No, they did it for wealth.
So there you have it. The entire Afghan war narrative that we have been fed, some from childhood, has been ONE ENTIRE STINKING FUCKING BULLSHIT LIE. Every person in the Bush Administration who was for the Afghan war should be hanged for launching a terrorist war against a people who were minding their own fucking business. So, 12 years later, what can the average American citizen do to try and bring this phony war to an end?
  1. Write to the president and your elected officials, saying, in more politer terms of course: "BRING THE FUCKING TROOPS HOME."
  2. Look at the voting record of any elected official running for office that you can vote for. If he/she voted to go to war or voted at any time to keep being in the war, do not vote for that candidate. That will send a message to the government that the American people are sick and tired of going to war to benefit the 1% and the military industrial complex.
  3. Explore the platform of the Libertarian party. Both Republicans and Democrats are addicted to starting long wars that kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people who didn't do a single damn thing, just to line their pockets with more money and power. But Libertarians offer an alternative to the "two party" system that is ruining our country, primarily because it is no longer a two party system, but rather an elitist oligarchy. Their official website is:  http://www.lp.org/
  4. Speak out against the war, just like I'm doing now. It can be over social media, it can be a protest in front of the White House, it can be a petition, etc. Get the word out, start people talking about this, because silence is compliance. If we're silent, that gives our jackass government the red light to continue this illegal, immoral, terrorist war.

Nidal Hasan Is Not a Terrorist, He Is an Enemy Combatant

Nidal Hassan, the Army psychiatrist who killed 12 soldiers, 1 civilian, and wounded 32 others at Ft. Hood, Texas, in November 2009, was convicted of all charges last week. This week, the jurors decide what his sentence will be.
http://www.cnn.com/2013/08/26/justice/nidal-hasan-sentencing/

I have no problem with this whole trial thing, or anything else related to this, for that matter. The only problem I have with this is that the vast majority of Americans are calling Hassan a terrorist, when in fact, he is not. He is an enemy combatant. He attacked soldiers in war-time, on a military base. His victims were overwhelmingly soldiers, (12 soldiers and 1 civilian). That's certainly better than the ratio of combatants/civilians the US has killed in all the wars after WW2.

It would help illustrate my point if we had a textbook definition of terrorism, because that word has been thrown around so much the last dozen years that it basically has lost all meaning. The American Heritage Dictionary defines terrorism as:
"The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons."
Okay, now, compare the definition to what Hasan did.
THEY'RE NOTHING SIMILIAR!!!!

This shows the sheer stupidity and hypocrisy of America in general, but specifically it's media. It shows the extreme lengths that America will go to, to de-legitimaize any type of resistance to it's imperialistic terrorist policies. They're trying to make it look like ANY person who opposes America is automatically a terrorist, no question asked. This is a typical fascist technique to gather support from it's citizens. After all, who wants to be called a terrorist? So, they brainwash people into supporting America blindly, in the fear that if they don't, they will be called terrorists, and shunned from ordinary society, and/or face criminal charges, imprisonment, etc.

Okay, some people say, but Hasan killed un-armed Americans. He was in contact with a radical Muslim cleric. He's obviously a terrorist, right???
Ahhh, but you have to look deeper than that to find the truth.
In war, soldiers, police officers, and government personal are legitimate targets to attack. They are the ones doing the attacking, so it only makes logical sense that you can defend yourself from them. Otherwise, you'd just have to sit there and get killed, saying "I can't defend myself because that's being a terrorist." Yeah fucking right, give me a fucking break. So, who did Hasan shoot at?
That's right, soldiers! Hassan shot soldiers! Soldiers who were getting ready to deploy to occupy Iraq and Afghanistan. Hassan acted in a totally rational manner as an enemy soldier would. Police reports verify that Hassan "specifically targeted soldiers in his attack. There were several times where he aimed at a civilian, realized that he/she was a civilian, and passed by them."

The fact that they're un-armed makes no difference, they are still soldiers. If you saw Osama Bin Laden walking down the street, you would kill him, right? You wouldn't rush towards him, and notice he has no weapon, and say "Oh, I know you're a mass murderer and all, but since you have no gun, I can't touch you."
Of course not! A soldier is a soldier, whether he is armed or not. That's why sneak attacks are so effective in war. It catches your enemy off-guard and un-armed. Which is exactly what this was, not a terrorist attack, but a simple sneak attack. It's a center piece of guerrilla warfare. American patriots did it all the time to British forces in the American Revolution. Are you calling them terrorists? They didn't do it because they were terrorists, they did it because that's the only way they could afford to fight. They couldn't afford the big fancy armies and cannons like the British could. Lumping guerrilla warfare with terrorism de-legitimizes any non-governmental group's fighting cause, effectively taking away the poor man of the world's way to defend himself.

Just because he was in contact with a so called radical Muslim cleric doesn't mean he's a terrorist. Let's say your best childhood friend turned out to a terrorist, and you honestly had no idea he was. The police can't call you a terrorist, simply by association. It doesn't work that way. But of course, the police could spin the story to make it look like you are. They could say "This guy spent a lot of time with this terrorist, they went to parties together, he even played air-soft with him!" Of course, that would be true, you did do those things with your best childhood friend, but with no terrorist ties at all, just simple friendship.

Bottom line I'm trying to make here is: we are overusing the word terrorist by a shitload. The discussions flew out the fucking windows of the house of rationality. People are acting like paranoid delusional crazies right now. It has got to stop, otherwise, this country is gonna end up like Tea Time with the Mad Hatter. The media has got to tone it down a few thousand notches. If America has the notion that any resistance to it's policies will be seen as terrorism, they will do anything they want to, without fear of consequences, because no one will try and stop them, on the fears of being called a terrorist, (1984 anyone?!?!?!)

You may not agree with the enemy or it's policies, but you have to admit that they have the inalienable right to fight against us in accordance with the laws of war and human rights.
Nidal Hasan is not a terrorist, he is a enemy soldier who tried to operate a sneak attack deep in our territory, and was captured after being wounded. Simple as that.

Condemn Terrorist Attacks, No Matter Who the Perpetrator Is

I’m going to talk about the one thing that no one is talking about when it comes to the story of Malala Yousufazi, the 14 year old Pakistani girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban.

Before I get into that, I am glad that so many governments, so many news channels, and so many people from all over the globe are united in their condemnation and utmost disgust of this attack. With it being hard for people of different faiths or races to agree on anything now in days, it is heartening to see such a diverse group of unified people on such an important issue. But, once you look closer at this, with historical context, you notice that there is something very wrong about this.
No, I’m not saying we should not condemn this act of terrorism, that’s not my point at all. We should condemn it. My problem with it is: Why is that when a Muslim injures or kills someone in a terrorist attack, Westerners are quick to condemn that attack, but when a Westerner does the exact same fucking thing to a Muslim victim, the number of Westerners condemning the attack sharply decreases to very few people?
Every single major U.S. news station has reported on Malala’s story, (CNN, FOX, CBS, MSNBC, etc). So why haven’t they expressed the same amount of outrage or given the same amount of coverage say when, American soldiers have shot unarmed Iraqi civilians on purpose? (Sometimes they’ve shot children in the head, the exact same thing that happened to Malala.) Why aren’t they disgusted when American soldiers bomb unarmed Afghani civilians? Why aren’t they repulsed when American drones bomb a funeral procession in Somali, or a wedding in Pakistan, or students in Yemen? Why why why why? No American has ever been able to answer me this question. No one.

An Afghani child that was shot in the head by American soldiers

This is very disturbing. The majority of Westerners, particularly the majority of Americans, have no problem with one of their fellow citizens, (Read: someone who “looks like them,”) murdering an innocent civilian that is not American, especially if that innocent civilian is Muslim, (Read: the mysterious, foreign, dangerous “Other,”). Our current culture hypes up people’s egos so much, turning them into megalomaniacs, that they honestly believe that Americans are genetically superior to every other nation in the world, so, we can do things that everyone else can’t. The rules that apply to everyone else in the world, don’t apply to us. We’re just that fucking special.
Now, not everyone who gives Americans a pass on terrorist attack is a self-absorbed prick. I’ve met some good, honest, nice people who do the same thing. Now why is that? Simply, it makes them feel too awkward, or too uncomfortable, to admit that their soldiers do such things. They don’t want to face the facts of all of the millions of civilians American soldiers have murdered over the decades, (centuries actually, if you want to go back to colonial times, but let’s not overwhelm ourselves here). So, they simply never talk about it. They never admit it. If someone brings it up in a debate or an argument, they physically cannot say anything else; they just sit there.
An American being the villain and a Muslim being the victim simply cannot compute for many Americans. That is not the official narrative of the government and their media lackeys. That is not what they hear when they are growing up. So, if anyone says otherwise, (like me), I’m simply an American hating terrorist. They completely disregard all my facts, charts, graphs, testimonies, history books, etc, etc, etc, i.e. all the overwhelming evidence that I have, with name calling. How immature.

An Iraqi civilian killed by American forces

If we can’t condemn our own terrorists, then why do we expect every other nation in the world to condemn their own terrorists? You can’t tell someone to do something that you are not willing to do yourself. The answer goes back to the megalomaniac point earlier: “We’re Americans, we don’t have to condemn Americans for anything, because we don’t commit any terrorist acts. We are only hard workers and heroes. However, you Islamic countries, you guys are all terrorists, so you have to condemn each and every terrorist attack a Muslim commits.”
Don’t think other nations get a pass on this either. It’s not just Americans that do this. Every single other nation has the exact same sick problem. They condemn terrorist attacks right and left, but as soon as someone of their own nation commits a terrorist attack, they fall deathly silent. Israel, Palestine, Russia, Syria, Nigeria, Mexico, Burma, etc, etc, all of them do the exact same thing.
We, as Americans, need to get over the awkwardness and the stigma that comes with condemning our own soldiers. I have no fear of walking up to an American soldier and saying “American soldiers kill innocent civilians on purpose.” Because it’s true. Look at history, YouTube, the news, etc. The facts are on my side. No one should be afraid of saying the truth. There is nothing un-American about calling a blatant terrorist attack, a blatant terrorist attack ,even if that terrorist is an American soldier. If you are a truly principled person, then race/nationality should have no role in whether you condemn a terrorist attack or not. If it does, then that means you are truly not against terrorist attacks. You’re only against terrorist attacks, as long as the terrorist is not an American. That’s right. You support terrorism. What does that say about your morals, your character, your values?

The site of a Pakistani wedding bombed by a U.S. drone

Think on it, and you’ll see why so many people around the world hate America. And, you’ll see that hate is not stemmed in ignorance, or jealously, no, it’s because they want us to stop killing them! Wow, who would’ve thought that killing unarmed civilians would piss people off?!

Americans Have No One to Blame but Themselves

For the first time in decades, Americans had a candidate that was running in one of the two main political parties that would’ve actually gotten rid of many of the numerous wrong and horrible things that is plaguing this country. He wasn’t some random third party candidate that hardly anyone knew about. He was running as a Republican. It couldn’t have been any easier for Americans to vote for Ron Paul for president 2012.
          But they didn’t want to.
Ron Paul, in his bid to save America from itself, was too “extreme” for most Americans. The similitude that comes to mind is this: picture America as a plane, and the passengers, its citizens. The plane is steadily going down, eventually to crash into the ground. It’s been going steadily down for a while now, so it’s pretty close to hitting the ground. Ron Paul offers to go up to the cockpit, and wrest control of the plane to get it back into the air. But all the passengers stop him, and say “Don’t! You’ll shake and rattle everyone in the plane! You agitator! You heartless extremist!”

So the plane keeps going towards the ground.
          Instead, Americans choose to support:

1. Out of control spending

Both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney had made it abundantly clear that they have no intention of getting rid of our massive and ridiculous amount of debt. They will both continue to spend billions of dollars on unnecessary and wasteful “defense spending,” (which is money to run our global empire, spy on Americans, oh, and kill a bunch of unarmed women and children. Americans apparently love doing that, since they do it all the god-damn time.) They will spend billions of dollars in military vehicles, weapons, and “security” training to give to dictators, corrupt and apartheid governments, so they can stay in power by violently suppressing their people. They will spend dozens of billions of dollars in handouts to Americans, dozens of billions of dollars that they don’t even have!

2. Revolving door of politicians and businessmen
The politicians and businessmen, (and businesswomen for that matter too,) are in bed with each other all the fucking time, (no pun intended). Each helps the other maintain their stranglehold on wealth and power. Politicians give companies complete power over their workers, their work sites, the native people they exploit in other countries, etc. In turn, companies give them hordes of money. Many politicians started off as selfish businessmen, and financed their campaign for office using their corporate money.

3. Defenseless border
While both Republicans and Democrats make up foreign boogeymen overseas for us to be scared of, the real threat is coming from this very continent. Both parties refuse to deploy troops along our southern border with Mexico to protect the U.S. from illegal immigrants invading this country by the millions. Democrats won’t do it because they want to have the Hispanic vote. It’s really sad that the Hispanic vote is directly tied to illegal immigrants, but that’s their problem. Republicans won’t do it because that would mean taking troops away from their maniacal overseas empire. So what do we, the American citizens, get from this? A surging population of people who legally AREN’T EVEN ALLOWED TO BE HERE. Some of them work, but do they pay income taxes on their income? Nope, but you have to. But they still get access to tons of free government services, welfare, disability checks, food stamps, education, etc. But they don’t pay a dime. You foot the bill for yourself and them.
To top it all off, instead of labeling these illegal immigrants as criminals, (they broke a law,) thieves, (they’re stealing money from you and the government,) and trespassers, (did I mention they’re not supposed to be here?) the government is passing laws allowing them to receive financial aid for college. California has done and Maryland is in the process of. They’re rewarding the illegals for breaking the law, and guess who’s paying for that financial aid? Not them, they don’t pay income taxes. That’s right, you are. You’re going to pay for your own children’s’ college plus theirs as well. All while the government and authorities know that they are breaking the law and you aren’t.

4. Endless wars
Most Americans are too ignorant to even know how many wars they’re in. When you ask, they’ll say 1: Afghanistan. But if they actually got off their fat asses and did a simple Google search they would see that they are in at least 12 wars! That’s right, America is at war with:
          Afghanistan
          Mexico
          Honduras
          Morocco
          Algeria
          Somalia
          Uganda
          Yemen
          Syria
          Bahrain
          Iran
          Pakistan

And there's even more, but these are the ones I found just during some quick research. Both political parties are obsessed with constant, multiple wars to devour as much power and resources throughout the world as they can. They don’t care how many people they kill, or torture, or kidnap, or rape, or assassinate, no, their avarice completely overwhelms them. We’re already at war with Iran, through spying and convert sabotage and assassination operations, but the U.S. Congress is constantly beating the war drums to formally invade the country. Nothing is enough for them. These wars are not formally declared, objectives are never announced, and timetables are never seen. They create a living hell for the citizens of those countries, for years and years.

5. Destroying the Middle Class, making more and more people into the Lower Class, while all that wealth goes to the greedy 1% Upper Class.
The Middle Class is dwindling every day in this country. More and more people cannot afford to live a Middle Class lifestyle, so they fall down a notch, into the Lower Class, which is swelling to a ridiculous amount of the population. And where is all that wealth going to? All the wealth that the government is sucking out of the Middle Class? That’s right, the Upper Class gobbles it up. The wealth disparity between the 1% and the rest of the population is at its biggest ever in the history of this country. The Upper Class spends it all on vacations, yachts, ridiculous expensive summer camps for their spoiled rotten children, and so forth. The government does this on purpose, so the Upper Class will reward politicians with ludicrous campaign contributions. And all the while, millions of Americans are struggling to get by paying rent and grocery bills.

6. Supporting dictators, authoritarian regimes and racist apartheid occupying regimes.
I already mentioned this partially in the first point, but this deserves a whole point to itself, because it’s probably the #1 thing that the U.S. does that I hate the most. If there’s anything that gets me fired up, it’s this. (And the fact that I’m listening to Metallica while writing this probably isn’t helping). Look at some of the countries that made the top 10 recipients of U.S. foreign aid in 2009 and 2010:

Most of those countries are horrible, corrupt, and brutal to their own people or the people they are illegally occupying, (in Israel’s case). Is that the type of countries you want your tax money to go to? Do you want your tax money to go to financing the torture of teenage boy in Jordan for simply asking for the right to vote? Do you want your tax money to finance Israeli tanks that kill unarmed Palestinian men, women and children? Do you want your tax money to pay the paycheck of a corrupt Afghan policeman who arrests a woman for being raped? WAKE UP! Why aren’t you all fucking furious at this?! What does your inaction say about yourself, your character, your values?! It’s sickening!!! Do you see why people hate America?! We finance so much oppression, so much killing, so much torture, so much repression. We’re the biggest terrorists on this planet!!!
I for one, do not just sit there and let our government do this. I attend every protest that is related to this issue that happens in D.C. I constantly write/call my congressmen and representatives, and let them know how sorely disappointed I am in their voting record, and what I expect of them. I share websites and articles through social media to help educate people. I donate money to NGO’s that work to stop the U.S.’s support for such regimes. I sign petitions. I write letters to the editors to newspapers. I gave a presentation about an issue related to this at a high school. Bottom line is: I stir shit up! If only a quarter of the population agitated as much as this, think of the change we could bring. Ah, but I digress.

7. Global Military Empire.
America has troops in 130 countries and 900 overseas bases!!!
This isn’t making us any safer! In fact, it’s making us less safe! How would you like it if Chinese troops patrolled your neighborhood? Or if Russian troops harassed your wife or girlfriend when you two were out? That’s right, you’d be fucking pissed off! Here’s a grand revelation here people: People don’t like foreign troops on their land! Who’d thought?!

Ron Paul would’ve fixed every single one of these problems, but the American people, like blind cows going to slaughter, have chosen to continue having these problems instead of the solutions. Paul would’ve done this to each one:

1. Only spend what money we actually have.
Ron Paul is the only candidate that would actually, truly balance our budget, by doing the spending cuts that nobody likes but that are necessary. And not balancing the budget in a 3 or 4 decades, or…never, in some politicians’ cases, but balancing the budget immediately.  That’s what fiscally responsible people do, and our nation should be modeled on that. If your monthly expenses is higher than your monthly income because you’re buying a ton of fucking luxuries, what do you do? That’s right, you reduce your expenses while trying to increase your income, until you are breaking even or making a profit. A 4 year old knows that. But like many Americans, who blindly charge as much as they can on their credit card each month, and only pay the minimum to keep going, American politicians keep going deeper into debt, raising the “limit” on how much we can borrow all the fucking god-damn time!!

 2. Get politicians and businessmen out of bed.
Ron Paul’s libertarian economics holds a strict principle of keeping politics out of the markets, and markets out of politics. No more secret “campaign contributions” from billion dollar corporations funneled into secret offshore accounts of corrupt politicians, in return for the politician to vote a certain way to help the corporation. No more treating a corporation “as a person,” allowing them complete control over their helpless workers. This is how capitalism is supposed to work; what we have is not true capitalism, its crony capitalism. The markets and government work best when they are as far away from each other as possible.

3. Deploy American troops to our southern borders.
This point is related to point #7, because Ron Paul would take all of our troops from overseas, and send the majority of them back to their families, but station enough that is necessary to finally protect our southern border with Mexico. That’s the purpose of the military: to defend our borders and citizens. Not invade countries that never attacked us, plunder their wealth, kill their civilians, etc, etc. That’s what barbarians do.

4. Only declare war on a country that has attacked us.
First of all, Ron Paul would’ve actually gone through the trouble of formally declaring war on a country. The U.S. has not done this since WW2. That is absolutely revolting. Secondly, a Paul administration would only attack a country in self-defense. I know, such a radical principle, right? No more making up excuses and false information to attack a country, such as Bush did with Iraq. No more attacking a whole country for the actions of one terrorist group, such Bush did with Afghanistan. No more attacking a country for…having a few people that don’t like us, such as Pakistan, Somalia, okay, you get the point, right?

5. Give the Lower and Middle Class more opportunities to move up.
Romney’s plans for the economy would strangle this country even more than it already is. He would tax the Lower and Middle Classes even MORE than they already are, while lowering taxes for the Upper Class. He is simply an Upper Class lapdog, eager to serve his financial masters, as well as get a few tax breaks himself. And we’ve already had 3 years of Obamanomics, and look where that’s gotten us. Complete shit.

6. NO FOREIGN AID.
This is what I like about the Paul the most, is because he has a strict, unbreakable principle of not giving even a single penny to any other country in foreign aid. No more paychecks to corrupt Nigerian soldiers who torture teenagers, exhort businesses, and rape women. No more Israeli APCs that help Israeli soldiers to steal water, land, and resources from Palestinians in the West Bank. No more funding for Pakistani policemen who arrest little girls who are mentally handicapped for…insulting Islam? Give me a break! I don’t want any of that shit on my conscience!

7. No more Global Military Empire.
No more U.S. “advisers” helping Honduran police kill civilians for being LGBT. No more “contractors” helping billion dollar corporations steal resources from rural third world communities. Nope, a Paul administration would’ve stopped all of these horrible crimes. He would have all of our soldiers within our own borders, respecting other countries and not bearing down on their communities.

In conclusion, Americans didn’t want to stop any of that. Their pride, arrogance, racism, and bigotry blinded them from acting on true American values: respect, justice, independence, freedom, liberty, and selflessness. When the next recession hits us, or the next foreign insurgent or rebel attacks us, or when we invade Iran, I’m going to be shaking my head and saying “I told you so.” We have no one to blame but ourselves. We had a clear choice to pick solutions based on American values, but instead, we narrowed our choices down to two men, (Romney and Obama) who both display avarice, arrogance and cold-hardheartedness.
To my international readers, I’m sorry for what America has done, is doing, or will be doing to your countries. My heart aches for your pain and sorrow caused by my countrymen. My blood boils at the injustices, horrors, and oppression you have had to deal with because of my countrymen.
My hands are clean of all this. My conscience is clear that I did all I could to oppose all this. I voted for Ron Paul in my state’s primary election. I didn’t want part in any of this shit.
